Which IT companies are excelling in their field? Sophos stands out among them, as noted by the 2024 CRN Annual Report Card. Solution providers marked Sophos as their vendor of choice for data security, network security, and Manage Detection and Response (MDR).
In its 39th Annual Report Card, CRN surveyed solution providers to determine their top choices across 27 technology categories. They evaluated vendors based on 22 different criteria, including product quality, partner program resources, support for partners and managed and cloud services.
The results were unveiled at the XChange August 2024 conference in San Antonio, TX, held by the Channel Company, CRN’s parent firm.
A Sophisticated Outcome
Sophos was judged to have the best network security offerings for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), sharing the top spot with another company as voted by solution providers. Sophos received high marks in product innovation as well as managed and cloud services. Product quality, reliability, and richness of features and functionality proved to be the foundations of that finding.
Data security was no contest, as Sophos swept the category. Overall, solution providers were impressed and scored Sophos highest in product innovation, support, partnership, and managed and cloud services. They also valued the extensive range of product features, seamless integration, revenue potential, and profit opportunities offered by Sophos.
Finally, Sophos emerged as the top Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider, with channel partners rating Sophos MDR with the highest average scores in all four criteria categories. Notably, Sophos MDR stands out as a pivotal security component, due to the service’s detection, response, and remediation capabilities.

Sophos provides partners a complete portfolio of industry-best, fully managed security services and solutions that integrate with each other and security tools from other vendors.
